Venues include Broad Street Bullies Pub, PBR Bar and Grill, Victory Beer Hall and the NBC Sports Arena. We are in search of a professional and experienced individual to join our leadership team as a Maintenance Manager who will maintain the buildings and grounds of the district, direct maintenance staff and oversee the upkeep of equipment and supplies.

 

 

Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee a housekeeping program designed to keep the complex clean and ready to open under optimal conditions (show ready) in accordance with our active master and events calendars
  • Schedule sufficient staffing for all three daily shifts
  • Manage applications for employment and keep a rolling interview schedule that will allow us to replace staff quickly when needed
  • Print and distribute checklists for each shift, including lists of extra work that can and should be done during each shift
  • Look over checklists to make certain that all work checked off has been properly completed
  • Make certain that checklists are being followed in an appropriate manner, i.e. that all work is completed, supplies filled and problems reported
  • Arrange for any uncompleted cleaning work to be finished by the next shift
  • Communicate any and all reported facilities issues to the Facility Manager so that those can be properly addressed in accordance with their importance
  • Maintain proper supply levels for all the various and miscellaneous supplies we need to keep the facility running smoothly
  • Work during important/major events in accordance with a prearranged management schedule
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest and fellow employee questions and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

Some college or advanced vocational training plus six years of experience in general building maintenance/ and/or construction and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Professional certification and license if required by law. Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred.

  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the facility, the brand and the Company.
  • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, ordering and receiving inventory, and giving and receiving instructions.
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

 

This job requires ability to perform the following:

  • Carrying, lifting, pulling or pushing items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Frequently standing and moving about the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Handling objects, products and equipment to maintain the facility.
  • Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and crawling.
  • Withstand potential climate temperature changes in assigned work area.
